Hello there! I’m excited to share what I’ve been working on in the studio recently. My latest projects are all about experimenting with one of my favorite materials—porcelain paperclay. I first discovered this fascinating medium during a short course with Lucy Cobb at West Dean College two years ago, and it’s been a game-changer for my work ever since. Porcelain paperclay has a wonderful resemblance to the air-dry clays I used many years ago for my art dolls, but it’s far superior. A year ago, I made the exciting decision to join the Southern Ceramics Group, eager to connect with like-minded ceramicists and learn from their wealth of knowledge.
