Butter Dish Pottery Workshop
Saturday 1st August | 10:00–12:00
Create a beautiful ceramic butter dish that will bring a handmade touch to your kitchen for years to come.
In this relaxed two-hour workshop, you'll be guided through the process of handbuilding your own lidded butter dish using stoneware clay. Whether you prefer a clean contemporary look, delicate botanical textures or playful decoration, you'll have the opportunity to personalise your piece and make it truly unique.
This workshop is perfect for complete beginners as well as those with some experience. You'll learn simple slab-building techniques, shaping, adding handles and decorative details, before finishing your piece with your choice of glaze.
After the workshop, your butter dish will be professionally dried, glazed and kiln-fired in my studio. It will be ready to collect approximately 4–6 weeks later and will be fully food-safe and suitable for everyday use.
